The Pax Vapor App is an application that will be available on both platforms, Apple Store and Google Play. From what we know, this application was a long time waited demand from Pax fans, an application to truly control the temperature on the vaporizer. Not much is said about this application yet, but we do know that is compatible with the Pax Era and the upcoming Pax 3.

The Pax Era is a new vaporizer model that is designed solely for concentrates. Pax Inc. noticed the popularity in the concentrate community, and they replied. It is sleek, extremely portable, and comes in a matte black finish. As of now it is unclear how it functions, as well as how the “pod” system works, but it is only available to California and Colorado.

But the infamous Pax 3: what should we expect?

From what we could tell, the Pax 3 is going to be a huge step up from the Pax 2. With its’ capability for both dry herb and concentrate, this device is definitely going to be a crowd pleaser for both herb and concentrate users.

As far as the design for the new model, the Pax 3 seems to be similar in shape and size, with only having a gloss finish rather than an aluminum finish. The oven seems to be of the same size and functionality, with a magnetic lid keeping it in place. The concentrate cartridge is seen attached to the lid, so it is most likely that there will be two lids for the Pax 3, one for dry herb and the second for concentrates.

The LED system was mentioned to be similar to the Pax 2, with the same indicators and motion gestures. With this being said, it is unclear if the Pax Vapor App will solely be only to control the temperature of the unit or if it will include other customization settings for the Pax 3.

As for heat up time of the new unit, the Pax website is stating that the oven will reach desired temperatures within 15 seconds. It is unclear if this is with the aid of the Pax Vapor App or by itself, or will the Pax 3 need the application in order to function?
